Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients

2 cups fresh pumpkin seeds
4 cups water
4 tablespoons salt

Method

Dissolve salt in water in saucepan.  Add pumpkin seeds.  Bring to boil and then simmer for approximately 10 minutes.  Drain seeds and dry.  Spread seeds on baking sheet.  Bake in 400 degree oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring every 5 minutes.  Baking time may be more or less depending on the size of the seeds.
