You probably don’t need to roll these cookies in both powdered sugar and granulated sugar, but we like them that way!
4 ounces sweetened dark chocolate, melted
1/4 cup better, melted
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
powdered sugar and granulated sugar for rolling
Mix together first 6 ingredients. Sift together remaining ingredients except powdered sugar and granulated sugar for rolling. Combine liquid and dry ingredients. Chill dough in refrigerator for 2 hours or until stiff. Scoop out tablespoons of dough and form into balls. Roll balls in granulated sugar to cover and then roll in powdered sugar to cover. Place balls on cookie sheets and bake for 12-14 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
